What should be done when the filter cloth of the vacuum belt filter press may deviate during use? The following are the key points compiled by the editor for everyone:
1. Check and ensure that the air source of the vacuum belt filter press is turned on. Refer to the air requirements above. Check the air filter and clean it regularly.
2. Check the limit switch lever. The lever should lightly touch the filter cloth. When the filter cloth is centered, its normal position is at a zero degree angle to the vertical line. If the contact angle is greater or less than sixteen degrees and the filter cloth continues to slide to one side, the following measures should be taken:
(1) Stop the filter press.
(2) Push or pull the limit switch lever by hand according to the offset direction of the filter cloth. The correction roller should start or continue to move. If not, it indicates that the position of the lever needs to be adjusted.
(3) If the cylinder is fully inflated and the correction roller still cannot correct the deviation, it means that the angle of the centering wheel can be further adjusted at the drive side bearing. At the same time, move the drive side roller bearing in the direction of the filter cloth stroke in the slot of the drive side roller, so that the filter cloth is in the middle on the filter machine. Fix the drive roller and wait for at least fifteen minutes to check if the filter cloth has returned to the middle. Remember, when the filter cloth is in the center position, the cylinders on each side do not move, and the limit switch lever is at a 0 degree angle to the vertical line of the filter cloth, which should just touch the filter cloth.
(4) If the limit switch lever moves, the cylinder is not fully extended, and the rotating roller does not move, check whether the air pipe is loose or whether the air source is sufficient. If none of these are the problem and the airbag does not respond to the movement of the contact rod, then the problem may lie in the airbag or limit control device.
